February 8, 2010, Update on the CLEERS Workshop

Update on the CLEERS Workshop

Greetings everyone.

We wanted you to know that our plans for this year's CLEERS Workshop are still on track. We have a slight delay in getting up the registration page, but we expect that to be open by Feb. 19th.

Our tentative agenda is still being revised, so it will be a while before we can post it. However, we have confirmed that our invited speakers will include Ruediger Steiner (Daimler), Neal Currier (Cummins), Patrick Da Costa (Pierre and Marie Curie University), and Andre Boehman (Pennsylvania State University).

Also, we will have a panel of industry experts who have agreed to provide their perspectives on aftertreatment and vehicle system simulations and then participate in an interactive question and answer session with workshop participants. The panel members will include Ruediger Steiner (Daimler), Neal Currier/Gary Salemme (Cummins), Paul Laing (Ford), and Tang-wei Kuo (GM). Other potential panel members are being identified.

We are still accepting proposals for contributed talks, so please let us know if you are interested in presenting one. For those who have already sent us proposals for presentations, please remember to send us your titles and abstracts.

Best Regards,

Stuart Daw
for the CLEERS Planning Committee and Focus Leaders
